This is the boat most people mean when they talk about visiting Poseidon Cave. It leaves from Porto Vromi Maries — the harbour reached through Maries village, not the Anafonitria one — and runs the standard west-coast circuit in about three hours.
The route goes north first, to Navagio, roughly 15 to 20 minutes away. Under the current restrictions this is an offshore photo pass rather than a beach stop: boats hold about 50 metres off and nobody lands or swims in the cove. From there the boat works back south with three swim stops, chosen on the day from the local sea caves, Sfogio, White Beach and Porto Steniti depending on wind and how busy each cove already is.
The Poseidon formation comes last. The operator's own listing names it twice — as the “Neptune Profile cave” in the description and as “Poseidon's Profile” in the inclusions — and it sits on the final approach back into Porto Vromi. Expect a few minutes with the engine idling while the skipper lines the boat up on the angle where the face resolves.
What is not included matters here: no food, no drinks, and no hotel transfer unless you add one. Bring water, sun protection and something for rocky entries at the swim stops — there is no shade at the harbour or on most of the coves.
